Note: We are very fortunate that Janet Pease has allowed me to publish her manuscript below. Please be sure to thank her if you find materials that you can use in your research and to reference her work in your materials.
Janet would appreciate any corrections, additions, etc., or just to know you're looking at it and find it useful.
Also, see on this site, a transcription of some of the pages of Marriage Books I and II, which also list the minister who married this couples. This information may help determine what church your ancestors attended.
Thanks, Janet. This is a terrific addition to our Bourbon County materials.

END OF Documents on LDS microfilm #183081.
it appears that most of the 1812 bonds didn't make it into those that were "loose papers" in 1959 when these previous bonds were microfilmed by the LDS church, for whatever reason .... on the other hand it appears that there are a number of 1812 bonds (and who knows what else) that still exist in the Bourbon County courthouse basement, however genealogist
Mary Hatton whom I depend on for all kinds of things asked the clerk to go into the basement and pull out at random some Bourbon County marriage bonds which are printed below. Whatever bonds appear below I have copies of and can copy and send to you via the postal mail for $1.00. write to Janet K Pease 12825 west 65th Way #151 in Arvada, Colorado 80004 or email me at email@example.com.
